Record numbers of British musicians will be arriving in Texas over the next few days for the start of the music industry showcase at South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin. Around 160 British songwriters and artists are expected to attend the 25thanniversary of the event which starts in earnest today with the interactive element taking centre stage. From Tuesday roughly 2,000 acts will perform in 90 venues while there will be guerrilla-style unofficial shows around the city. The event will also see former White Stripes man Jack White launching his newest venture: a mobile record store dubbed Third Man Rolling Record Store.
