On the Imagesound Sessions we aim to bring you the best new music as well as established artists, at the end of June we recorded our latest Imagesound Session with Jasper Mook, a Dutch singer songwriter with a big future.
Jasper started his solo career with a kickstart. He participated in nationwide TV-show “De Beste Singer Songwriter van Nederland” and ended at the ‘final six’, playing on national TV several times. During several preliminary episodes, Jasper showed his great skills as a songwriter and performer. Next to a growing fanbase and online following, he also convinced Dutch music professionals of his talent.
Jasper has been working on his career for many years, writing lots of songs and playing over a hundred shows.
During his years at Herman Brood Academy, he was the main force of ‘I’ll Pick You Up’, a pop/rock band that played with bands such as Hot Chelle Rae and We The Kings in major venues in The Netherlands.
As a solo artist, he got invited to play in Barcelona every week, performing in clubs and hotels. These performances supported his thoughts to spread his wings and aim for an international career as a solo-artist.
Jasper played his first big tour in The Netherlands in the end of 2013 playing venues like Paradiso, Tivoli, Oosterpoot, Effenaar and Paard van Troje, In early 2014 he had his first tour in Ireland.
